Rajant Aided Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort
WAYNE, PA — Rajant Corporation, a wireless technology firm, is playing an important role in assisting the recovery effort after the destruction left by Hurricane Katrina. They are taking part in the Delaware Valley Hurricane Relief Fund, established by Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA).
Congressman Weldon will be flying to Baton Rouge, LA early Friday morning to deliver rescue equipment already donated from local Delaware Valley businesses to the governors of Louisiana and Mississippi. Three Rajant employees, with over $400,000 worth of specialized equipment, will be traveling with Congressman Weldon.
The specialized equipment, known as BreadCrumbs®, creates an instant, portable, wireless network able to operate in virtually any environment. Rajant has partnered with Eagle Design Group, Zcomax Technologies, Inc, Symbol Technologies, Inc, Telenor-USA and Growth Strategies Group, who are also donating equipment and time to help with this effort.
